As a Technical Support Agent at SmartHost, you will be an integral part of our customer experience team. Your role will be to provide technical assistance and support to our web hosting, domain registration, and WordPress Care Plan customers. You will be addressing customer enquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for our clients.
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web hosting, domain registration, and SSL certificates.
- Guide customers through WordPress setup, customisation, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication.
- Keep accurate records of interactions, troubleshooting, and actions taken.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications / Experience
- A relevant degree or proven experience in a technical support role.
- Strong understanding of web hosting, domain services, SSL certificates, and WordPress.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with customer service software, databases, and tools.
- Patience and a customer-centric approach to handling inquiries and issues.
