As a result of the global pandemic and in a bid to encourage trading, the standard rate of Irish VAT was reduced to 21% for a six-month period from 1st of September 2020 to the 28th of February 2021.
The standard rate of Irish VAT is due to increase back to 23%, taking effect from the 1st of March 2021. This rate will apply to all of SmartHost’s products.
