As the June Bank Holiday approaches, SmartHost would like to inform our valued customers of our operating hours and service availability during this period. Monday, the 3rd of June, is a Bank Holiday in Ireland, and we want to ensure that you are well informed about any changes to our usual schedule.
Service Availability on Monday, 3rd June
On the Bank Holiday, our phone service, along with our accounts and sales teams, will be closed. However, we understand that many of our customers rely on consistent and dependable service, so we have made arrangements to ensure essential support remains available.
Technical Support: Our technical support team will be available by email and support ticket as normal. If you encounter any technical issues or require assistance with your services, our team will be on hand to help. We are committed to ensuring that our customers receive continuous support, even during the Bank Holiday.
Cloud VPS Server Customers: For those with enhanced support plans, our on-call support service will remain operational. If you experience any issues with your cloud VPS servers, rest assured that our dedicated team will be available to provide the necessary assistance.
Online Domain Sales: Our online domain sales platform will continue to operate without interruption. This means you can still register and manage your domain names through our website. However, please note an important exception: .IE domains. The registration of .IE domains require manual confirmation by the .IE Domain Registry. The registry’s hours will be slightly different during the holiday period. They will be open from 9 am to 1 pm on both Friday, the 31st of May, and the Bank Holiday itself. This might cause minor delays in the confirmation process for .IE domain registrations.
Resumption of Normal Office Hours
Our regular office hours, from 9 am to 5 pm, will resume on Tuesday, the 4th of June. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this short break. Our team will be ready to assist you with any queries or issues once we reopen.
We encourage our customers to plan accordingly, especially those who might require account or sales support, and to take advantage of our on-call support for critical issues if you have an enhanced support plan.
